“How in the world do you take a year off of work??”
It’s a question I have heard a LOT during our year long sabbatical.
In reality, it isn’t complicated. It’s not even very hard.
But 99% of people don’t see it as a possibility.
These simple 6 steps will prove that wrong. I will show you a flexible path you can customize. In fact, half way through this PDF, you might realize you could create a life where you can take a year off from work every 5 years!
Taking a year off, Gap Year, Sabbatical: whatever you want to call it. This is a time to live on your own terms. An entire year to fulfill YOUR biggest dreams. There is no need to wait till you are 65. No need to save a million dollars.
My new PDF guide just released. It will be FREE to everyone on my weekly email list! You know what is even more fun than taking a year off? Sharing that with a friend! So make sure you pass this on!
Awesome! Look forward to checking it out and sharing it. 🙂 I agree with you. It’s not complicated, just gotta delay some gratification. It’s understandable that it’s not for everyone though.
I have people ask me all the time. Or act like it’s impossible. But if people see how there is an easy path, I hope a LOT more people start.
Looking forward to this, Ms. Montana!
Can’t wait to read it. My modest plan for 2016 is an extra month off…. Lets see…
Awesome. I think an extra month off is a great goal!
I will pitch the idea to my bosses at year end. Fingers crossed
So exciting! Let me know how it goes. =)
This is great!
I have been thinking of putting together a PDF to talk about my own experience with this. I know for a fact it’s possible to take a year off because I’ve done it too. And I know how beneficial it can be. Can’t wait to read! 🙂
Awesome, I would love your input too after you read it! The great thing about a digital product, I can always tweek it after the fact for future readers. =) Hopefully, it will show folks that this isn’t complicated or even that hard. I think it is totally within reach for most people with just a bit of planning. I’m putting the finishing touches on it today!
This is so great! You’re so good, Ms. Montana. Thank you! 🙂
Get you get your copy? If you have read it yet, I would love some feedback. Shoot me an email. I want to constantly update and improve it! montanamoneyadventures@gmail.com
I am also in full time employment and under 26 – my work allowed me to take all my holidays together and I volunteered in Thailand for 4 weeks. It was an amazing experience, have you considered taking your holidays all together?
It will take you about 2 days to travel to Asia, and 2 days back again, plus you need a day or two to re-acclimatize, in my opinion to do all that in 2 weeks you aren’t getting the most out of the opportunity.
That is great! It’s a great option for some people. While Mr. Mt was in the military we took a few 3 week trips. Twice in other jobs we asked for special permission to take a month off. Some jobs it can be tough to pull off depending on your position. In Mr. Mt’s last job, there were people who struggled to take a full week off. Anything longer was just too stressful because of the amount of work that would pile up. Thanks for the suggestion!
Is this available still with sign up . Looking forward to seeing it
It is! I have to manually send out my welcome letter, and only do it every few days. It will be there shortly!
Is this still available? I’ve been subscribed since May 2017, and I swear I had this, but I cannot find it in my emails. My husband and I would like to start planning now for a year off when he journeys out of his plumbing apprenticeship. Many, many thanks!
